Job Title: Quality Management Associate

 

Position Summary: The Quality Management Associate will support the quality department in monitoring, analyzing, and improving healthcare delivery processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, driving quality improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of patient safety and excellence across the organization.

 

Department: Quality Management

Reports To: Vice President, Clinical Excellence

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Hybrid (three days/week in the office)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards,
  • Conduct internal audits and quality reviews to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  •  

 

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Collect, track, and analyze quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders

 

Process Improvement

  • Support quality improvement (QI) initiatives
  • Apply industry-standard methodologies such as PDSA
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency

 

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records
  • Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner

 

Patient Care Connections

  • Support HEDIS measures evaluations by scheduling appropriate appointments
  • Align with patients to aid in closing care gaps
  • As part of Clinical Operations team, aid in covering phone lines as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field required

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare quality, compliance, or a related role

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis with Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
