Job Summary

Position title: Hematologist/Oncologist Opportunity – J-1 Waiver/Conrad 30 Sponsorship

 

Job summary: Essen Health Care is seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing team in the Bronx, New York. We welcome qualified physicians seeking J-1 waiver sponsorship through the Conrad 30 program. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients diagnosed with cancer, focusing on their unique needs and treatment plans. Our ideal candidate will be committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including physical examinations, to determine the best course of treatment for patients with cancer.
- Utilize Physiology knowledge to develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs and condition.
- Provide routine check-ups and follow-up care to patients undergoing treatment, monitoring their progress and addressing any side effects or concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment.
- Participate in research studies and clinical trials to advance the field of oncology and improve patient outcomes.
- Offer immunization and Botulinum toxin treatment options to patients as appropriate.
- Provide geriatric care, taking into account the unique needs and challenges faced by older adults with cancer.
- Utilize radiography and other diagnostic tools to identify and monitor cancerous growths.
- Provide wound care and support to patients with compromised healing.
- Stay current with the latest developments in oncology and adhere to evidence-based best practices.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Eligible for a New York State medical license
