Job Summary

Position Title: House Calls Podiatrist/ Driver provided!

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Podiatrist to provide high-quality, in-home foot and ankle care to patients across all five boroughs of New York City. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, patient-focused clinician who thrives in a mobile care environment and is passionate about improving access to care for homebound and underserved populations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Travel to patients’ homes to deliver podiatric evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including but not limited to diabetic foot care, ulcers, infections, corns, calluses, and toenail disorders.
  • Provide wound care management and preventive foot care education to patients and caregivers.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the organization’s electronic health record system.
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure proper use of medical equipment and supplies during visits.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatric medicine.
  • Current and unrestricted New York State podiatry license.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in podiatric medicine or surgery (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (home care experience is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and mobile documentation tools.

#INDHP  $130,000k-$150,000k salary
