Job Summary

Position Title: Enrollment Team Manager

Job Summary: The Enrollment Team Manager will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and operational excellence of the Intention Healthcare Call Center's enrollment and census generation efforts. They will oversee the patient enrollment team for Intention Healthcare, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient enrollment of patients into our programs. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements, and optimizing processes to support patient access and satisfaction.

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and collaborative leader with experience in patient enrollment and a passion for improving the patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for achieving monthly and annual patient census targets, ensuring high-quality patient/member engagement, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the enrollment team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Oversee the patient enrollment process from intake to program assignment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and required documentation.
  • Collaborate with care teams, operations, and clinical staff to streamline enrollment and improve patient access.
  • Monitor workflows, team performance, and key metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and payer requirements related to patient enrollment.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex enrollment issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and performance tracking tools for the enrollment team.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to call volume, conversion rates, staff productivity, and overall census generation. Provide regular, data-driven reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused team culture.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in patient enrollment, intake, or healthcare operations; at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Deep understanding of both inbound customer service and outbound patient/prospect engagement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of patient eligibility, insurance verification, and enrollment processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare management systems.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage an in-person team effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
