Job Summary

The Vice President (VP) of Operations will oversee multi-site/specialty operations, identify and implement best practice standards while working in partnership with physicians, providers, management and staff to implement these standards in support of the achievement of Essen initiatives.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for a day to day operations, work alongside senior leadership to develop and implement strategic goals and plans and opportunities for growth and expansion but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals for the department.
  • Develop, monitor and administer revenue generating activities, including volume, clinical programs and business development achieving positive bottom line results.
  • Develop and nurture business partners leading to revenue diversification and stronger growth metrics for business units.
  • Oversee reporting and monitoring of organizational performance metrics.
  • Manage processes to ensure operations are in sync with organization objectives and strategy, including systems analysis, productivity analysis, and cost control on supply chain management and personnel.
  • Facilitate cross functional organizational planning to promote the advancement of the initiatives and profitability.
  • Maintain open communication and positive working relationships with physicians, providers, and managerial staff to understand the issues and needs of the organization and the individuals within it.
  • Oversee other executives who direct the activities of various business units and implement the organization's objectives and guidelines on a day-to-day basis.
  • Lead internal communications efforts through active communications to all staff including meetings, announcements, reports and bulletins.
  • Focus on operational planning and management.
  • Implementing strategy and transformational changes.
  • Supporting growth and expansion; cultivating a culture of operational excellence.
  • Develop a high performing / high quality practice.

Salary: $140,000-$170,000

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related health field is preferred.
  • Five to seven years management experience in hospital and or medical practice administration (required).
  • 10+ years of experience in Healthcare Operations of specialties Required
  • Understanding of value-based care, population health, pay for performance, and other risk based payments for providers.
  • Excellent Communication Skills Written and Oral.
  • Excellent Computer Skills.
  • Strong Leadership skills
