Job Summary

Job Summary: As IT Asset Management Technician, you will play a vital role in the set-up, distribution and recovery of IT assets across Essen Health Care. You will be involved in the full life-cycle of an Asset, from procurement to disposal. Additionally, you will assist in the monitoring and troubleshooting of these assets, through various management platforms.

You will also be involved in company projects and work closely with other departments within IT to optimize and improve business operations, both within IT and companywide. Your work will help support a medium sized healthcare company with over 60 locations across the Bronx.

Responsibilities

Manage tickets on ITSM

-Procure assets through Purchase Order Management System

-Receive, catalogue, record, store incoming assets

-Using multiple device management and tracking platforms

-Set-up, train, schedule and deploy outgoing assets

-Using multiple device management and tracking platforms

-Organize multiple priorities throughout the work-day

-Tickets

-Receiving/Deploying assets

-Recording asset change of status

-Project Work

-Responding to team members via email/message promptly

Qualifications

 High School Diploma

· Proficient in English Language

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Field

· Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering

· S.T.E.M.

 

Required Skills:

· Strong professional writing skills

· Competent with Excel

· Windows and iOS troubleshooting experience

Experience in Active Directory a bonus

· Ticketing system experience

· Knowledge of basic networking concepts

· Detail-orientated individual

· Team player

· Able to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

· Switch between different tasks based on shifting priorities

Able to lift 50 lbs

· This job involves working through the full lifecycle of an asset, including: tracking, storage and transport of electronics-based assets (computers, printers, TV’s)

Hours: 9am – 5pm (Mon – Fri) [In-Office]

 

Hourly: $21-$24 an hour
