Job Summary

Position title: Vice President of Operations, Healthcare

 

Job Summary: The Vice President of Healthcare Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of the healthcare organization, Cirrus Healthcare. This role involves strategic planning, operational efficiency, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The VP will lead various departments, fostering collaboration and innovation to enhance patient care and streamline processes.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to set organizational priorities and drive initiatives.
  • Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical and administrative departments.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Quality Improvement:

    • Lead quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
    • Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
    • Analyze financial reports and operational data to inform decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
    • Stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and policies.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and community partners.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Innovation and Technology:

    • Identify and implement innovative solutions and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare operations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations management, with 5-7 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
