Job Summary

Position Title:Director of Business Development

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our client’s team in our Bronx community! In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding their presence in the outpatient health industry.

The business development Director plays a pivotal role in driving growth in the House Call Medical service program and promote both Primary and Transition of Care program to Nursing Homes and Hospitalsand expansion for the company.

The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, such as physicians, payers, and case managers
  • Work with business leaders to review and grow the organization’s business strategy
  • Monitor industry activities and developing competitive strategies
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, strategic partners, and other stakeholders of the healthcare sector
  • Create short- and long-term plans to achieve goals and objectives for the business development department
  • Overseeing the pre-admission function and other aspects of the business
  • Craft and deliver pitches and form relationships with the customer from the physicians to executive levels.
  • Oversee the day to day activities of one or more functions within the organization’s business offices
  • Draft proposal narratives, create draft budgets to package proposals and reports appropriately
  • Work with team members, Executive Director and Deputy Director to raise support from healthcare communities
  • Preparing business plans and budgets to present to management or clients

Qualifications

  • MBA is required
  • Proven experience within the healthcare industry especially nursing homes
  • Must be able to work in the field two days a week and be in the office three days a week
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience or exposure to business management
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Excellent business and technical acumen and are able to identify and seize opportunities
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

Salary: $100,000-$140,000
