Job Summary

 

The primary goal of the Community Outreach Liaison is to establish and generate referrals, generate awareness of our company and services, and anticipate, identify, and resolve service issues, while facilitating and improving internal/external communications.

  • Liaison will also track and analyze existing referral patterns and reports trends to management. Supports the department by participating in various health fairs, seminars or educational events, or other projects, to enhance a positive image for the company.
  • Candidate will be equally responsible for establishing a high level of customer service by facilitating referrals, providing information on new programs and services, and the introduction of new providers/services.
  • Candidate will provide timely resolutions to issues that impact referral operations and will be charged to communicate outcomes in a timely fashion. Interacts with Executive Manager and other staff to relay referral source concerns, and recommend and/or assist in the resolution of problems or service issues.

Conduct effective outreach and referral cultivation visits.

Effectively manage territories assigned

Coordinate meetings between key providers and staff to improve communication and relationships

Cultivate targeted referral sources to meet daily/monthly goals

Participate at Community/ Employer Health Fairs, community outreach events and

Educational presentations (churches/synagogues, etc.)

Maintain, update and refine our sales database for all offices, referring sources and

Staff/ office contacts.

Run timely reports to accurately track referral sources activity.

Assist Marketing Department with outreach related projects

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

 

Required Education and Experience
Qualifications & Skills

Track record of exceeding activity and sales goals preferred.

Healthcare background a plus.

Problem solving and customer service skills required.

Must be highly professional in appearance, tone and delivery and an effective communicator.

Dedicated to follow-thru and results.

Flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities and priorities

Knowledge of healthcare and direct marketing to community agencies and/or physicians preferable.

Sales/marketing specific background or education with focus on consultative selling.

The ability to interact with, support, and positively influence the behavior and activities of referral sources, superiors and staff/co-employees.

Must be an exceptional listener, with the proven ability to problem-solve to issues discussed.

Strong organizational and speaking/presenting skills.

The ability to work independently and in a group setting, high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, a sense of urgency and analytical and intuitive skills.

Knowledge of preparing, and interpreting spreadsheets and reports, and data analysis.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
