Job Summary

The Logistics Supply Chain Associate will have a strong understanding of the warehouse
processes and demonstrate adept procurement ability. The ideal candidate will excel at customer
service and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The Logistics
Associate will have strong listening and negotiating skills that are adept at communicating
effectively with team members, vendors, and contractors. The Logistics Supply Chain Associate
will develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company as well as its vendors and their
products. Strong ability to read, write, speak, and see is required. Ownership of initiating
contract conversations with Logistics Management and vendors.

Responsibilities

Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors for best pricing on supplies and equipment.
 Manages and documents all equipment ordered by department.
Organize warehouse supplies and pick/ deliver orders.
Prepping and stowing inventory physically and digitally.

Assist with scheduling meetings with vendors and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate ability to improve processes end-to-end.

Ensure all vendor contacts up to date on Master roster.
Determine suitable warranty terms and make educated recommendations to requestors for approval.
Order supplies through Envi as per departmental guidelines.
Investigate, intervene, and provide guidance on order requests.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple inquiries from vendors and team members at once.
Escalate Pos as needed to appropriate approver.
Collaborate on site initiatives and weekly site visits with various stakeholders (Travel required throughout the Bronx
& Queens)
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

4 Year Degree preferred but not required (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management)

1-2 years demonstrated Procurement/Supply Chain experience
Proficient with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Excel Sheets)
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution
(CLTD), APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred but not required
Must be a strategic and creative thinker, solution oriented, open and welcoming to change, comfortable working in
group settings, have an ability to handle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines.
