Job Summary

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT Field Technician to join our information technology solutions team. You will serve as the face of the company, travel to site locations for installations, maintenance, or repairs of desktops and networks. This may include working with email, printers, video conferencing equipment, and VPN. For customers who have connectivity or hardware issues, you will troubleshoot via online chat, phone, or in-person to fix the problem. Our preferred applicant has at least one year of technical experience and a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Install equipment and software to meet client needs
  • Maintain systems to ensure they run properly
  • Perform repairs when necessary, either through online chat, phone, or in- person
  • Train client staff on how to use new systems

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in technology field, e.g. mechanical, electrical, electronics, etc., or equivalent experience
  • Skilled in the use of PC applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the use of basic tools, including multimeters
  • Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Ability to understand technical diagrams and manuals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimum direction
  • Adaptive to change and tight deadline
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Good customer service and organizational skills are needed
  • Service Technician: 1 year (Required)

 Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • On Call on Weekends and holiday

$22.00-$24.00 an hour
