Job Summary

The General Manager of Training and Development at Essen Health Care is Responsible for course design and development, as well as class management, database maintenance, and student evaluations in accordance to training and staff development.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and deliver ongoing and new training programs for the corporation.

· Plan, organize, document, and implement training activities including virtual learning, classroom learning, and on-the-job training.

· Function as a master administrator for the current learning management system

· Provides leadership, direction and administration to the staff and medical team of Essen Health Care

· Create handouts, manuals, visual aids, Power Point presentations, etc. to support course implementation.

· Utilize relevant software to create interactive, multimedia presentations using software such as MS Office, and Adobe Content Creator programs or Microsoft Excel to provide informational tools and reports to support training compliance.

· Responsible for coordinating projects and administrative responsibilities consistent with the training initiatives for the department.

· Work directly with AVP of operations Training and development regarding budget planning and monitoring.

· Responsible for quality assurance measures for Essen Health Care courses and assist in the development of ongoing measures and instruments to evaluate training effectiveness.

· Responsible in measuring current and ongoing competency development / needs of the corporation.

· Advises the AVP of operations Training and development in all aspects of department operations; acts as strategic advisor to the department on organizational development issues.

Ensure organizational systems, programs, policies, and procedures are implemented as required and that the property complies with relevant legal mandates.

· Modify existing training resources identified by the training department.

· Ensure to clearly communicate company goals and productivity

· Responsible in developing and deliver leadership development training, including but not limited to: team development, coaching, performance management, train-the-trainer, orientation/onboarding, and compliance training.

· OTHER: Other duties as assigned.

 

Salary: $60,000-$65,000

Qualifications

Education/Certifications/Licenses: · Bachelors Degree · Medical Background preferred · Three (3) years experience preferred Performance Standards for Specialty Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Progressive Management experience with a minimum of three years experience in a managerial/administrative position · Prior teaching experience helpful · Knowledge of Microsoft Office · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Familiarity with online training tools is a plus · Detail-oriented and organized
